The exhibition continued the sensory exploration on the cross over between the applied object and the
abstract sculptural form . The series of so called functional sculptures were exhibited as a table setting and consisted of different hollow forms: of bowls, vessels, jars, vases, etc.. Mentioned categorizations of applied objects do not give away too strict definition for certain usage rather than hold the potential to enable things to be placed on top of them or stored inside. Exhibited objects could be used for these various functions or viewed simply as sculptures.
To illustrate the ambivalence, and to break the still life setting of a gallery exhibition format, in the middle of the exhibition the setting was moved around. The hollow ceramic (functional) forms were turned upside down or closed with plaster (sculptural) covers, thus offering two different perspectives for observing the same forms.
